TAPplication Form – Part 3

This last part is the really important part.  In case you didn’t read carefully on the page before, this is what we’re looking for:

Not just anyone gets to go on one of our trips. We’re very picky about who we select. We want to take kids who genuinely want to learn, grow, and experience the world. We want to take kids who are going to be excited to be a part of our group. We want to take kids who are good members of their community and school, and who want better things for themselves. We want to take kids who will participate in our classes, be active in our fund raising efforts, actively seek out knowledge about the destination, and will make our group better just by being there. This application is your chance to show us that you’re that type of kid. In the spaces below, convince us that you’d make TAP Adventures better.

There are a few ways you can show that to us.  First, you can write an essay for the question below.  This is an opportunity to really show us who you are and why you’d make our group stronger.  Remember, these essays should be about a page long.

Second, you could submit a video application.  At this point, you might be thinking to yourself, “Another essay? I hate writing essays! I am so much better at talking about my ideas.” Well, good news! TAP Adventures is interested in building a diverse group of students who express themselves in many different ways. After all, different perspectives make for a much richer educational travel experience. This year, TAP Adventures is giving the option of submitting video responses instead of written replies. Please make sure that your response is well thought out, answers all of the questions, and is between 4 and 7 minutes long.  You can submit your video on any platform, please include the link to your response in your TAPplication.
